Las niñas y adolescentes de Fe y Alegría Nicaragua, bajo el lema Nuestra luz brilla, desarrollaron el conversatorio nacional “Nuestra voz nace en este presente y construye nuevos futuros” para su empoderamiento frente a las violencias basadas en género, en el marco de la Campaña global la Luz de las Niñas liderada por Entreculturas y promovida por la Federación Internacional Fe y Alegría.

 

El objetivo principal de este conversatorio fue destacar el proceso de empoderamiento de Niña a Niña que han desarrollado las niñas y adolescentes como parte del proceso formativo y las acciones regionales desarrolladas a favor de la prevención de la violencia basada en género, en la cuales también participa Honduras, El Salvador y Perú. “Queremos expresar que las niñas tenemos voz. Nosotras las niñas si podemos hablar, somos fuertes y no estamos solas. Que nuestra luz brille”, expresó Adriana Marenco, participante de la Campaña La Luz de las Niñas.

 

Durante el conversatorio las niñas y adolescentes compartieron sus habilidades artísticas con la narración de sus cuentos y exposición de las ilustraciones que elaboraron durante los talleres de expresión artística, espacio en el que las niñas adquirieron habilidades artísticas que les permitió expresaron creativamente sus sentires frente a las diferentes realidades de violencia a las que están expuestas, a fin de lograr su empoderamiento para que brille su luz hacia la igualdad y la equidad de género.

 

De acuerdo con Marcela Navarro, Coordinadora de la región Ciudad Sandino de Fe y Alegría, “en este conversatorio, las niñas reflexionaron sobre la importancia de vencer el miedo y poder expresar lo que sienten y piensan de una manera creativa a fin de prevenir las violencias que pueden sufrir las niñas y adolescentes. Con la campaña La Luz de las Niñas, las niñas y adolescentes participantes, han desarrollado sus habilidades comunicativas y de empoderamiento con enfoque de género, lo que les permitió ser las protagonistas del conversatorio con un mensaje de niña a niña”.

 

 Por su parte Ian Martínez, estudiante participante del Conversatorio Nacional, manifestó: “Hoy aprendí con las niñas que es importante dar un espacio a todas las niñas y adolescentes para que puedan expresarse, porque a veces por dar nuestra opinión obviamos la opinión de ellas, y su opinión también importa. Una de las acciones que podemos hacer para evitar la violencia es que las niñas y adolescentes deben expresarse y opinar, porque si no se les escucha no podremos saber cómo mejorar el ambiente para ellas”.

 

 A través del arte como medio de expresión y comunicación, además de aprender conocimientos técnicos las niñas de Fe y Alegría has logrado desarrollar su creatividad y el pensamiento frente a las prevalencias de la violencia basa en género. Este conversatorio les brindó la oportunidad de con otras niñas la importancia del derecho humano al respeto de su dignidad e integridad, a ser protegidas de las violencias y defender sus derechos.

 

 “Con la campaña La Luz de las Niñas, las niñas y adolescentes han adquirido habilidades para poder expresarse en el proceso formativo-comunicativo que se desarrolla en la campaña. Las niñas y adolescentes se han dado cuenta que tienen voz y voto para defenderse. Aprendieron a reconocer su rol como persona en esta sociedad, también, a reconocer su fuerza interior para combatir la violencia y animar a otras niñas para que no se queden calladas. El rol de la escuela es sumamente importante, aquí es libre, puede hablar y puede encontrar fortaleza y confianza”, indicó Hna. María Guadalupe Primo Durán, Directora del Colegio San Francisco Xavier.
